Nocta × code
Launch
I had the incredible opportunity to design and animate the game user interface for “Nocta x Code’s” new London showroom launch. Developed in partnership with Solarflare Studio, the game is an interactive laser challenge where guests hit moving visual targets in a high-velocity, high-score battle. The event was a massive success, and I later created this dynamic After Event video to showcase the thrilling immersive experience.
My role was end-to-end: from concept to final delivery and after event videos across all formats — hero video, looping UI demos and social media cuts.
Why it looks
the way
it does
To reflect Nocta’s bold visual identity, I developed a minimal, high-contrast UI with a grid of wavy topography lines for dynamic flow. Following extensive iterative testing and multiple software versions to perfect target explosion timing, I synthesized tactile SFX directly with my animations.
I then integrated raw event footage and in-game projection macros into the final After Event video to deliver an engaging, hyper-fast, immersive product story.
